FIerce impact @ leneva park in 2021

Leneva Park is excited to announce that FIERCE IMPACT - the three-time Group 1 winner and Australia's Joint Champion Middle Distance Horse of 2019/20 - will join our stud roster in 2021.

The outstanding miler will finish his racing career during the Sydney Autumn Carnival, returning in the $1million Group 1 George Ryder Stakes on March 20 before retiring to Leneva Park Seymour, alongside Lean Mean Machine and Royal Meeting.

"It's incredibly exciting for our farm but also for the Victorian breeding industry," said Mick Sharkie, Leneva Park General Manager & Bloodstock Manager.

"Fierce Impact has been a super racehorse, so tough and durable and obviously an elite talent at the highest level in Australia. He's one of Deep Impact's top five all-time performers so there is immense quality there for breeders to access from 2021 onwards."

Winner of the G1 Toorak Handicap (1600m), G1 Cantala Stakes (1600m) and G1 WFA Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m), Fierce Impact defeated 17 individual Group 1 winners in victory including the outstanding Russian Camelot at its peak.

Leneva Park Seymour Operations Manager Brian Byrnes is thrilled to add another high quality stallion to the roster this season.

"It's a great coup and a fantastic addition to our farm," said Byrnes.

"Lean Mean Machine's first foals are excellent types and we'll welcome Royal Meeting's first crop later this year. The business is going forward in leaps and bounds and I cannot wait to welcome Fierce Impact to the farm - hopefully after he adds another Group 1 or two!"

Breeders are invited to contact Mitch Brown (Nominations & Sales) or Mick Sharkie (General Manager & Bloodstock Manager) to book mares for the 2021 season.
