We wanted to provide an update as to the flood situation in Seymour and surrounding areas along the Goulburn River and tributaries.
The stallion facility at Leneva Park Seymour on Northwood Road remains unaffected by floodwaters, however the lower lying sections of the property owned and managed by Seymour Equine have been inundated. Sections of Northwood Road are also under water as the Goulburn River has broken its banks.
With numerous road closures in place in the local area local government and SES have advised it is currently not safe or appropriate to travel to the area. We have been advised that if floodwaters subside quickly within the next week, business can resume as normal; our stallion facility remains unaffected and access will be possible via the north entrance to the property on the Nagambie side of Northwood Road.
If you have a mare booked to any stallion standing in the Seymour or Nagambie area, please stay tuned to news and SES information regarding safe access and contact the relevant stud farm offices for updates as to when normal business can resume.
