GONE WEST (descendants include ELUSIVE QUALITY, GRAND SLAM, MR GREELEY, XAAR, IFFRAAJ, RIBCHESTER, WOOTTON BASSET and is present in TORONADO), MARJU, PULPIT, DEEP IMPACT, DOUTELLE, KNOWN FACT, MUKDDAAM, FOXLAW, ALCIDE, ATAN, ABOVE SUSPICION, SONG OF TARA, PARTHIA and KNIGHT COMMANDER are other members to seek to reinforce this line.
Round Table is present via son Artaius in Royal Meeting. SIR TRISTRAM is out of a daughter of Round Table, which will create a desirable sex balanced duplication. Mares carrying his descendants such as LONHRO, PIERRO, ZABEEL, SAVABEEL, MARAUDING, OCTAGONAL, GROSVENOR, KAAPSTAD, TIERCE, MILITARY PLUME and IMPERIAL PRINCE are appealing. Invincible Spirit’s champion sire son, I Am Invincible has had plenty of success with mares carrying Sadler’s Wells, his brother Fairy King and three-quarter brother, Nureyev.
The 39 (to-date) stakes winners with this pattern include the dams of Group 1 winners Imperatriz, Media Sensation, Invincibella, Home Affairs and Viddora. The SADLER’S WELLS sire line has many representatives in Australasia, such as BARATHEA, CARNEGIE, ARTIE SCHILLER, GALILEO (and sons including HIGHLAND REEL, CHURCHILL, TEOFILO, FRANKEL etc), HIGH CHAPARRAL (sire of DUNDEEL, SO YOU THINK, TORONADO etc), MONTJEU, CAMELOT, SCENIC, TAVISTOCK and several more.
FAIRY KING can be found in mares by ENCOSTA DE LAGO (and son NORTHERN METEOR – sire of ZOUSTAR and DEEP FIELD), FALBRAV, ADVENTUROUS, REVOQUE, HELISSIO, SHINKO KING and VICTORY NOTE.
Royal Meeting is light in the ALMAHMOUD family, carrying only two lines to Northern Dancer. More of this influence, plus fellow family members DANEHILL and his many descendants, MACHIAVELLIAN (sire of STREET CRY & VETTORI) and HALO in mares can boost this prepotent line. Halo can be sourced via SEBRING, MORE THAN READY, DON’T SAY HALO and SUNDAY SILENCE line mares, among others.
Invincible Spirit is out of a mare by Kris (by Sharpen Up). He is a brother to KEEN and DIESIS. DANEHILL DANCER carries a daughter of Sharpen Up to sex balance the son, Kris. Group 1 winning daughters of I Am Invincible, In Secret and Loving Gaby and other Group winners Fiesta and Eckstein, are from mares by Danehill Dancer or his sons CHOISIR and MASTERCRAFTSMAN.
Royal Meeting’s second dam Drummer Girl is inbred to BRAMLEA via sons Roberto and Mullineaux. Another relation to reignite this line in matings is DELTA JUDGE, who is present in STREET SENSE (and son HALLOWED CROWN), UNCLE MO, EXCELEBRATION and JIMMY CREED mares.
Drummer Girl is by Al Mufti, a descendant of MISSY BABA. Others to trace to this Blue Hen mare include STATUE OF LIBERTY, FOXHOUND, BITE THE BULLET, DUKE OF MARMALADE, A.P. INDY, EAVESDROPPER, HONOR GRADES, SAITHOR, RAJA BABA, GAY MECENE, LEMON DROP KID, SAUCE BOAT and PLUGGED NICKEL.
Buckpasser, duplicated in Royal Meeting’s dam, is a LATROIENNE family member.
